Welcome to Fino

These Terms of Service govern your use of Fino and myfino.app. By creating an account or joining our waitlist you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — we've written them in plain language intentionally.

1. Who Can Use Fino

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fino. If you are under 18 you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

By using Fino you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and current

• You will use Fino only for lawful personal purposes

• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Fino platform

2. Your Account

Waitlist Members Joining the Fino waitlist requires only your email address. We will use it to notify you of launch updates and early access availability.

Account Holders Once Fino launches, creating an account gives you access to receipt scanning, price tracking, and savings alerts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it.

Account Termination You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

3. Your Data and Our License to Use It

You own your data. Your purchase history, receipt data, and personal information belong to you. Fino does not claim ownership of any data you provide.

License you grant to Fino By using Fino you grant us a limited license to process your receipt and purchase data for the purpose of:

• Providing your personal price intelligence, spending insights, and savings alerts

• Improving Fino's accuracy and features

• Generating anonymized, aggregated industry insights as described in our Privacy Policy

This license does not include the right to sell, share, or disclose your personal data in identifiable form. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail of how your data is handled.

Anonymized Data Fino generates revenue by selling anonymized, aggregated trend data to the retail industry. This data cannot be traced back to you individually. By using Fino you consent to your data being included in this anonymized dataset.

4. Fino's Responsibilities to You

We commit to:

• Keeping your personal purchase data private and never selling it in identifiable form

• Providing accurate price intelligence based on real receipt data

• Being transparent about how your data is used and how we generate revenue

• Giving you full control to export or delete your data at any time

• Notifying you of any material changes to these terms or our privacy practices

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Fino to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or manipulated receipt data

• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

• Reverse engineer, copy, or replicate Fino's technology or data

• Use Fino for any commercial purpose without written permission

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Third-Party Connections

Fino may allow you to connect third-party shopping apps or services to automatically import purchase data. When you connect a third-party service:

• You authorize Fino to access the relevant purchase data from that service

• The third-party's own terms and privacy policies also apply

• Fino is not responsible for the practices of connected third-party services

7. Intellectual Property

All Fino technology, branding, design, and content — including the Fino name, logo, and app interface — is owned by Fino and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any Fino intellectual property without written permission.

Your receipt data and personal purchase history remain your property at all times.

8. Disclaimers

Price Intelligence Accuracy Fino's price intelligence is based on real receipt data submitted by users. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all price information is current or complete. Fino is a tool to inform your shopping decisions — not a guarantee of any specific price or savings outcome.

Service Availability We aim to keep Fino running reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Fino with reasonable notice where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fino's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for Fino in the 12 months preceding the claim. Since Fino is currently free, this means our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Fino is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fino harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Fino evolves. When we make material changes we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Fino after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to updated terms you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
